New GLOBAL XRS 7400

ACTION MOBIL presents the new GLOBAL XRS 7400 at this year's CARAVAN SALON in Düsseldorf (Hall 5).

ACTION MOBIL uses as basis a MAN - construction series TGS - with three axles.

As usual at ACTION MOBIL, the vehicle disposes of all-wheel drive and is designed to be used also in difficult terrain. A minor performance increase up to 630 HP provides for approx. 2 litres underconsumption. 

Technical details of the GLOBAL XRS 7400

Differential locks on all axles and a longitudinal compensation barrier allow optimum traction and safety, even on problematic terrain. Leather seats, both ventilated and heated, automatic temperature regulation and many additional equipment details guarantee that you can enjoy optimum convenience and relaxed recline, even when covering lengthy stages on motorways.

Another substantial asset for superior travel comfort is the pneumatic shock absorption on the rear axles. Moreover, with the help of pneumatic shock absorption, the vehicle can be levelled to a certain degree at the push of a button. The troublesome handling of wheel levellers or similar mechanical aids can often be avoided.

Talking of energy efficiency

The considerate use of our natural resources has for decades been a significant topic at ACTION MOBIL. The highlight  of the current development are top-performance,  tiltably  bedded solar panels installed on the roof, which supply 1.7kW peak and feed a battery package with an output of 22,000 Wh and a capacity of 800 (optionally 1,000) Ah.

Each one of the 4 installed batteries is self-sufficient, which means that even in the highly improbable case that 3 to 4 batteries should fail, power supply is still intact. The 230 V generation is soundless and also redundant.

2 inverters with a continuous output of 3,500 Watt each are also available.  All products for generation and storage of energy are provided by our longstanding partner Mastervolt.

The hydraulically operated ACTION MOBIL motorbike elevator is able to lift a load of up to 500 kilos and ensures that storing the bike is made extremely convenient and secure. The platform is arranged at a height of more than 2 metres. Thus the danger of theft or spontaneous vandalism is reduced considerably.

Like all vehicles, also this ACTION MOBIL is manufactured in single-unit production according to the client’s ideas and wishes. Individual adaptations concerning floor plan, tank- and battery capacity, size of beds up to chassis selection are possible, respectively customary and desired.

Environment-friendly produced energy is abundantly available. During summer, hot water for shower and dishwashing can be produced sound-free and ecologically via the solar plant.  The use of a diesel-operated heating or the connection to the land-based power grid is normally not necessary.

Another highlight is the fact that the battery is charged via the vehicle engine. Redundant systems provide for a total charging capacity during the journey of up to 210A/28.5 Volt. Within 30-45 minutes the average daily demand of electric energy can thus be loaded. In bad weather conditions a modern vehicle engine can be charged stationary with a good conscience. A diesel generator with its typical shortcomings is no longer used.

Such a well thought-out and redundant system naturally provides for a reassuring feeling of security.

Interior design of the Gloabl XRS 7400

When entering the living-room, the couch with its lounge character strikes the eye.

In case there are more than 2 persons travelling, the lounge can be converted to a large-scale lounge suite with dining table.

In the usual case of 2 passengers travelling, the separate seat group near the kitchen provides sufficient space for having a snack.

In addition to that, the lounge suite can be converted into an additional bed, fast and easily.

Cooking is done with the most up-to-date MIELE appliances. The induction cooking zone, flush-mounted in granite, boasts 4 hobs, booster- as well as starting function. A stove with integrated microwave and special programs rounds off the cooking equipment. The kitchen area also contains a MIELE tumble dryer of the latest generation with a capacity of 7 kg.

An app sends a message to your smart phone as soon as the clothes have been washed and dried, however only if such a message is requested.

For drawers and furniture doors ACTION MOBIL has developed a central locking system, which keeps everything securely locked, even in rough terrain. This leaves ample design freedom for the customer as far as furniture is concerned.

An additional asset in the kitchen is a fridge with a storing capacity of 175 litres. This in-house ACTION MOBIL product stands out due to its extreme insulation (60 mm PU) and boasts correspondingly low energy consumption. This degree of insulation is only surpassed by the freezer with a volume of 150 litres. Also in this case, 90 mm thick walls provide for efficient energy use. Needless to say, another ACTION MOBIL gadget developed in-house.

Another feature where ACTION MOBIL stands out in creativity is the design of sanitary- and shower sectors. A mobile home fit for travelling the globe is used in all sorts of climate zones and hygiene is therefore a prerequisite for the owners’ wellbeing. Thanks to a flexible door system, the various areas can be separated and used simultaneously. Likewise from the cabin the sanitary area can be reached via the big climb-through door.

The warm-water heating with 3 different heat sources (diesel, electricity and heat exchanger) provides for a pleasant room climate, even when outdoor temperature is low.

Disposal pumps and pneumatically operated valves safeguard required convenience when emptying toilet- and wastewater tanks.
